Applications are invited from eligible M.Sc. students of BRAC University for a research stipend under the project “AI, IoT and Data Science for Future Farming Systems.” 

The project is funded by the UGC ICSETEP Research and Development Grant (RDG) Subproject and is being jointly carried out by researchers from BRAC University, University of Rajshahi, and Murdoch University, Australia.

Stipend and Duration
• Monthly stipend: BDT 20,000
• Duration: 18 months

Eligibility
Applicants should:
• Be an M.Sc. student at BRAC University;
• Have completed their M.Sc. coursework and be ready to commence their thesis research;
• Be interested in conducting thesis research aligned with the theme of the project, “AI, IoT and Data Science for Future Farming Systems.”

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
• Expertise or demonstrated experience in Deep Learning and/or Computer Vision;
• A good publication track record in relevant areas.

The selected student will have the opportunity to conduct research within a collaborative project involving researchers from Bangladesh and Australia and contribute to the application of advanced AI, IoT, and data science techniques to future farming systems.
