Introduction to computer graphics, Drawing Algorithms (Line, circle, ellipse, polygon filling, and so on.), Geometric transformations, Viewing and Projections, Lighting and shading models, Color models Ray tracing algorithms, GPU parallel processing and CUDA programming, Fundamentals of animation 2D Animation- 2D artwork or image that has movement, 3D Animation- 3D models, cameras, lamps to show movement, Virtual and augmented reality, Real-Time Animation- controls movement through animation, Animation Software/Tools: Maya, Blender, 3D Studio, Lightwave, etc., Fundamentals of Game Engine: Unity and Unreal Engine. Project: real-world problem solving based on computer graphics and animation.
The core objectives of this course are to:
Understand the fundamentals of computer graphics and animations
Acquire adequate knowledge - methods, algorithms, tools and techniques
Develop skills for 2D and 3D graphic content generations and interactive applications (e.g., animations, games and VR-AR applications)
Apply theoretical knowledge and skills of computer graphics and animation to solve real-life problems
