The core objectives of this course are to:
Understand the concept of usability for security and realize the tradeoff between usability and security
Learn the basic methodologies of conducting security experiments involving end users
Identify the user susceptibilities that are associated with managing different types of security and privacy systems and tools
Understand the principle of designing usable security and privacy systems and tools
Recognize that security and privacy decisions in today’s digitalized world are entangled with various psychological and social arguments
