Ankan Ghosh Dastider is a Lecturer (currently on leave) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Data and Sciences, BRAC University. He obtained a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) with an Electronics major from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2022. His interest to explore diverse arenas in his research career led to the publication of 4 research articles in various reputed journals and 4 conference papers so far. He is currently a member of the IEEE and IEEE EDS Society. He has actively participated in numerous synergistic and leadership activities and got selected to attend various international conferences and workshops. He strongly believes that knowledge should belong to all and has been working in a voluntary role with open knowledge projects like Wikipedia having this goal in mind. His research interest includes 2D materials, Materials property, Device physics, Nanotechnology, Data-based Materials property exploration, and Deep learning.
