Marshia Nujhat is a Full Time Lecturer in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. She completed her B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from the same institution with the highest distinction and is additionally pursuing her M.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering here as well. Prior to being a faculty member, she served as a Student Tutor, which shaped her passion for teaching. 

Her research interests lie in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UI, UX and Usable Privacy & Security. She actively engages in research that utilizes qualitative and quantitative approaches to draw user insights on existing and emerging technologies, and build more user-centered and accessible systems. Her works also addresses the privacy and security concerns of digital technologies, primarily emerging from human factors and human errors. She is currently looking to explore the prospects of interactive and immersive systems in a Global South context. She is open to collaborations with researchers of similar interest.
