Quazi Shafayat Hossain is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at BRAC University. He attended Notre Dame College after finishing his education from St. Joseph High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (former Applied Physics) from University of Dhaka (DU). His areas of interest in research span Material Science, Density functional theory, and Biosensors, among others.

 

Outside of academia, Shafayat enjoys powerlifting and travelling.
