Arif Shakil has joined BRAC University as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as of May 2018. Before this, while he was still a student at BRAC University, he worked as a Student Tutor in the CSE Department of BRAC for almost 1.5 years(2016-2017 period), and worked as a Student's Mentor in BIL, BRAC University for a semester. Arif Shakil is currently pursuing his Masters degree in CSE from BRAC University and after completing his bachelors in CSE from BRAC University graduating in Fall 2017. Before then, he completed his O' Levels from BAF Shaheen English Medium School and then finished his A' Levels from British Council. Both the levels' curriculum was GCE of Edexcel Board.
