About Me

Hello! I am Fahim-Ul-Islam, currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant in Computer Science and Engineering at Brac University. under the supervision of Amitabha Chakrabarty. Besides, I am pursuing my master's degree at Brac University, where I am engaged in my thesis and have nearly completed my coursework.  I have also done my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering at Brac University. My research interest can be mainly summarized as follows:

In the domain of Computer Vision and Graphics, my research is driven by a profound interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the comprehension and interpretation of visual data. My work aims to advance the state-of-the-art in computer vision algorithms, addressing critical tasks such as object detection, recognition, image generation, and manipulation. By integrating sophisticated deep learning methodologies with computer graphics techniques, I aim to develop systems that can achieve near-human-level accuracy in analyzing and understanding visual content. Additionally, I am deeply interested in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its multifaceted applications, with particular emphasis on developing Large Language Models (LLMs). I believe that advancements in NLP and LLMs can drive transformative changes across industries by greatly enhancing machines' understanding and processing of human language.
