Rawhatur Rabbi is currently pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at BRAC University and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the CSE Department under the supervision of Dr. Aniqua Nusrat Zereen. His research interests focus on machine learning, particularly deep learning and computer vision.

Before his current role, Rawhatur was a Research Associate in the BBS Department of BRAC University, where he contributed to database and website creation and research forecasting. He also has experience as a Software Engineer trainee in AI and ML, working on Dr. Chashi, an in-house product of Medina Tech Ltd, which is dedicated to data-driven farming to optimize and automate crop disease detection.

During his undergraduate years, he worked as a Student Tutor in the MNS Department of BRAC University. He also gained valuable experience as a part-time QA and Automation Tester at MasterWizR, a Norway-based SaaS company. There, he developed and executed comprehensive test plans and cases for software applications to ensure they met system specifications. He also interned at Parallaxlogic Infotech early in his academic career.

Alongside his enthusiasm for research and academics, Rawhatur actively participated in extracurricular activities. He spent four years with the Robotics Club of BRAC University (ROBU), where he became the Director of the Marketing and Finance Department. During his time with ROBU, he led many sessions on the basics of robotics.

Before his undergraduate journey with BRACU, he completed his schooling at Monipur School and Notre Dame College.
