Redowanul Akbar is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, Bangladesh. He completed his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering in 2023 and joined BRAC University as an adjunct faculty member in Spring 2024. Later, in Summer 2024, he was appointed as a full-time lecturer of BRAC University.

His research interests span human - computer interaction, reinforcement learning, large language models, and robotics, with a particular emphasis on human-centered and hardware-aware intelligent systems. He is especially interested in applying machine learning and reinforcement learning techniques to real-world problems involving decision-making, autonomy, and system optimization across both software and embedded platforms.

Alongside his research activities, Redowanul Akbar is actively involved in teaching and curriculum development. He has taught courses including CSE340: Computer Architecture, CSE360: Computer Interfacing, CSE461: Introduction to Robotics, and embedded systems fundamentals. He is known for integrating theoretical foundations with hands-on experimentation, encouraging students to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and practical implementation.

Beyond academia, he is keen on interdisciplinary innovation that connects technological research with societal needs. His long-term academic goal is to pursue advanced research and contribute to impactful teaching and scholarship in computer science and engineering.
