Umme Jannat Taposhi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, Bangladesh. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree (Fall 2023) and Master’s degree (Summer 2025) in Computer Science and Engineering from BRAC University, graduating with the Highest Distinction in both.
 

Her research interests lie at the intersection of:

  • Human–Computer Interaction (HCI)
  • Social Computing and Digital Behavior
  • Health Informatics 
  • Usability and User Experience (UX) Analysis
  • Human–AI Collaboration and Explainable Systems
     

Taposhi’s work focuses on understanding how people interact with intelligent technologies across social, educational, and healthcare contexts. She is particularly interested in designing data-driven yet human-centered systems that improve usability, inclusivity, and trust. Through her teaching and research, she aims to bridge the gap between human behavior and computational intelligence to create more inclusive and impactful digital experiences.
