Asif Shahriar is currently working as a Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering department of BRAC University. He completed his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2024, with a strong academic record. During his third year, Asif completed a hybrid internship at North West Power Generation Company Limited, where he helped develop a machine learning algorithm for predicting faulty ultrasonic flow-meters. His current research interests span across automated computer and network protocol security frameworks, natural language processing models, and Trustworthy LLMs. Alongside raw-performance improvement, he also values efficiency, modularity, and automation (what good are agents if not automated?).
Asif is grateful to all the mentors and supervisors who have guided and supported him throughout his academic and research journey. He believes in “persistence until improvement”, even if it requires going the extra mile – and hopes his students would, too.
