Shomen Kundu is working as a Lecturer in the Department of CSE, BRAC University. He has experience teaching both theoretical and laboratory courses on electronics, VLSI, and circuit design. Shomen has always had a passion for teaching, and he considers himself fortunate to be able to pursue this passion professionally. Since joining the university, he has consistently demonstrated his expertise, dedication, and passion for the profession by producing high-quality instructional materials for both educators and students. His contributions reflect his competence and commitment to enhancing the learning experience. He is currently serving as the coordinator for the VLSI Design (CSE460) course.
He received his BSc. from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), BUET in 2024, with a major in Electronics and Photonics. Throughout his academic journey, he has gained research experience in various fields, including DFT Simulation, 2D materials, Quantum Devices, 2D DG-FETs, Nanoelectronics, Analog Circuit Design, and VLSI. He is also interested in different algorithms of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Apart from studies, he has been the Assistant General Secretary of Environment Watch: BUET. His career ambition is to work as a researcher.
He has a friendly personality and tries to develop an interactive environment during teaching sessions. Besides, he likes traveling, cooking, and enjoys playing chess.
