Niaz Ashraf Khan is a dedicated academic professional with over seven years of experience in Computer Science and Engineering. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Niaz holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he also completed his Bachelor’s degree. His research interests lie at the intersection of Sound Signal Processing, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Research Interest

I work at the intersection of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) and model optimisation, specially pruning and interpretability in machine learning models for healthcare. My research seeks to create AI systems that are accurate, interpretable, and resource-efficient, making them more viable for real-world clinical use.
