Ms. Nusrat Zaman Raya is passionate academic and researcher driven by the belief that creativity and logic can coexist at their finest. She stood out for her academic brilliance, earning her placement on the Vice Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists and receiving multiple merit scholarships throughout her school, college, and university years. Her excellence was nationally recognized when she was awarded by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2017. Her enthusiasm for problem-solving was evident early on, as she became the Female Champion in her very first participation in BRAC University’s Intra-University Programming Contest. Her research interests lie in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, specializing in NLP, Computer Vision. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, where she continues to deepen her research expertise and contribute to academic innovation.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Raya is a vibrant soul with a deep love for the arts and photography. She continually chases the version of herself she has yet to meet, guided by the motto: “Strength is built in the unseen battles.”
