Md Shamsur Shafi Nur E Aziz is a Contractual Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. He is also an alumnus of the same department, having completed his undergraduate studies in 2025. His research focuses on multimodal learning and AI systems designed to build inclusive communication tools to alleviate the challenges people face due to their disabilities.

Shafi has always been passionate about teaching and mentoring. He has earned a reputation as a CIE Computer Science educator for high school students over the last 3 years. During his university years, he has also served as a Student Tutor across multiple courses.

Outside academia, he has been a theatre performer and had a successful run as a high school debater. Though his debating days are behind him, his flair for persuasion and love of public speaking continue to shine through in his teaching.
