Md. Ishrak Ahsan is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. Prior to this, he served as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of CSE, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for 4 months. He earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc. Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET in March, 2025 with an outstanding academic record. During his undergraduate years, Ishrak actively participated in programming contests, representing his university in several national competitions. Additionally, he actively mentored high school and undergraduate students for the past few years.

His research interests lie in Bioinformatics and Machine Learning. He worked on Single Cell Transcriptomics, a state-of-the-art technology in this domain, in his undergraduate thesis.
