Prithu Mahmud is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Brac University. He has experience teaching both theoretical and laboratory courses on electronics, VLSI, and circuit design.
He is pursuing an M.Sc. from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) as an electronics major. During this time, he has worked on several research collaborations on high-temperature circuit design and deep-learning-based nanoscale Si FinFET modeling with experts in academia and industry.
He has completed his B.Sc. from the same department. For his undergraduate thesis research, he worked on a Photonic Topological Insulator-based Multi-Wavelength Optical Demultiplexer with Piezoelectric Switch-Off on a Lithium Niobate platform.
His research interests include Photonic Integrated Circuits, Photonic Computing, Photonic Crystals, Photonic Topological Insulators, Deep Learning, Analog Integrated Circuits, VLSI, and Nanoscale Transistor Modeling.
