Metaverse has become by far the hottest topic both in and out of technological discussions. A such there is a race amongst tech giants such as Microsoft, Meta has poured in lots of investment to create the next big service that can be incorporated in the metaverse. The recent popularity of metaverse has been attributed to the breakthrough in immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). In metaverse, a user is represented as an avatar, and this avatar is capable of relating with other avatars (users), and by using immersive technologies can interact with objects (virtual and/or real), applications as well as every other thing available in the metaverse. The innovative combination of the multiple powerful technologies that will come into play in the metaverse will spark a torrent of security threats. There has been limited study on metaverse security implications, questions like how vulnerable are this new technology has
not been asked well enough, and if it has, the answer has been in short supply. A detailed work can be done in this area.
Current world is moving towards metaverse. It is the future tech. Researcher has been working on this area. AI, image processing, HCI, security can be merged in this
research.
Metaverse is regarded as one of the future Internet for business, socialization,
entertainment, education in fully connected, immersive, and engaging online 3D virtual experiences. Many security issue will affect the rapid adoption of the metaverse. Students might be able to purse their higher study in this area and build their own metaverse.
