Synopsis

Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) is a multidisciplinary field focused on the study and design of systems where humans and robots interact. It encompasses aspects of robotics, cognitive science, psychology, and design to ensure smooth and efficient communication between robots and humans. The goal of HRI is to make robots more intuitive, responsive, and adaptable to human needs in various contexts such as healthcare, manufacturing, and social environments. As robots become increasingly integrated into daily life, challenges include enhancing natural communication through speech, gestures, and emotions while addressing safety, trust, and ethical considerations.
